What you’ll be doing
Strategic Agency Partnerships is a team united behind the vision to make our Boots and No7 Beauty Company Marketing and Communications teams become world class modern, customer centric and tech enabled functions driving growth and efficiency for the business. To support this vision, the Strategic Agency Partnership function is responsible for building and managing strong win-win relationships with key agency and production partners. To define joint plans against our Marketing and Communications objectives and support our company’s transformation agenda.
Our Partnership Manager is responsible for managing and evolving the relationship with The Boots Group’s key production partners. This role involves strategic planning to drive mutual growth, co‑ordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives, and continuously looking for areas of collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Support in identifying and implementing production partnerships to deliver production requirements across the Boots Groups ensuring we have the best partnership models in place to drive business growth.
- Manage and develop the performance of our production agency partners in line with business strategy and plans.
- Set up a clearly defined Triage process for all scope across partners ensuring that every partner is performing the best role in the ecosystem from a quality and cost perspective.
- Partner with stakeholders and consultants to ensure production processes and costs are as efficient as possible.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our production agencies, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Act as day to day contact for lead production partners and B‑Hive, monitoring, tracking and managing continuous performance.
- Drive forward our innovation agenda with our partner identifying new approaches, collaborations and ways of working.
- Lead and develop a detailed governance structure that ladders up to our strategic plan and overall business expectations.
- Lead ongoing operations and performance management.
- Manage the commercial process and any matters related to fees, planning and tracking jointly with Procurement and Finance.
- Work closely with agency and internal teams to plan, agree and manage the production scopes of work and budgets.
- Be aware and have your finger on the pulse of the changes and directions of Boots and the brands under the No7BC.
What you’ll need to have (our must‑haves)
- Experience and proven track record in production management and operations/processes within the marketing or advertising industry, either client or agency side.
- Experience in setting up and managing agency partnerships.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally as well as confidence to engage with new clients and agency partners independently.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in project, program and budget management.
