This is an excellent opportunity to work at an accounts department within a solicitors firm based in London W1.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Numerical data entry on Sage and other practice management platforms
  • Payment entry and fraud checks
  • Invoice checking and calculations
  • Making payments
  • Collecting money
  • Chasing client payments / credit control
  • Time recording
  • Opening files
  • Closing files
  • Archiving
  • Assisting with preparation of yearly accounts for filing with Companies House
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and month end duties
  • Assisting with property related expenditure
  • Assisting with property management and deposit protection
  • Assisting with yearly audit
  • Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
  • Scheduling client appointments
  • Managing key and important deadlines
  • Managing customer records and due diligence (KYC)
  • All other reasonable tasks and office errands which may be asked to undertake
