About the Role As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Product Developer to support our team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This opportunity would suit a highly organised and adaptable professional who enjoys working across varied development projects and can integrate quickly into established teams, systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Manage product development from design handover through sampling, approval and production. Create, maintain and update bills of materials, technical packs and development documentation. Source suitable fabrics, trims and other development components. Liaise with suppliers and factories regarding sampling, costs, lead times and product development. Review samples for measurements, fit, construction and overall quality. Participate in fittings and communicate amendments, comments and approvals. Track development critical paths and proactively identify potential risks or delays. Ensure product information is accurate, complete and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders. Troubleshoot technical and development issues with suppliers, factories and internal teams. Provide additional development support during busy periods and major project launches. About You You will have: At least three years’ experience in a product-development role within fashion, workwear or corporate clothing. Strong knowledge of garment construction, manufacturing methods and production processes. Experience creating and managing bills of materials and technical packs. Proven experience working directly with suppliers, factories and manufacturers. The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. A flexible, proactive and collaborative approach. Contract Details Flexible, project-based engagement. Freelance day-rate arrangement. Potential for ongoing assignments, subject to the company’s project pipeline. Office-based collaboration may be required depending on the needs of each project.
