As our Social Media Executive, you will work under G&B Home Living Ltd to create and develop various marketing initiatives to grow our social media following and digital presence across our core brands and license brands including Laura Ashley, Cath Kidston and William Morris at Home as well as supporting our Retail Partners, such as B&Q and Dunelm, with social content that they can share. You’ll be fast on your feet and ready to come up with bright new ideas. You’ll be a keen content creator with exceptional writing skills, a real passion for social media and enthusiasm for making content that people love.
What You’ll Be Doing as our Social Media Executive…
- Creating on trend and on brand content across a variety of social media platforms including Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Assisting in being the voice on social media including responding and escalating as necessary to consumers and staying engaged in the conversation.
- Assisting in execution of new initiatives to help grow the social fan base across all of our platforms.
- Drive a consistent video strategy that supports the visibility of the brand along with the Product team and the Licensors to help increase social engagement both for No Two Houses and our Partner sites.
- Create Social Media Content Packs to be shared with Retail Partners with appropriate content they can distribute across their social and comms platforms.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Controller to create and test/refine paid social assets that support a full funnel marketing strategy including drive brand awareness, acquisition and retention as well as growing our community and CRM database.
- Being current across all new emerging technologies and social communities.
- Monitoring and distributing user generated content.
- Tracking our competitors and brands that set a high standard of presentation and creativity to ensure we are staying ahead of social trends.
- Following fashion and trends, and other features that our brand could benefit from.
- Building and maintaining working relationships with influencers including identifying brand partnerships and brand positioning influencers and coordinating contracts, samples and gifting for outreach.
- Building strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure good representation of the brand, and to get things done cross departmentally.
What We’re Looking For…
- Educated to degree level or have relevant experience (2-3 years in a Social Media role).
- Strong understanding and passion for social media. This includes, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.
- A creative mindset to be able to create engaging campaigns and content.
- Good use of creative design packages, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent would be essential.
- Very well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Competent to work on own initiative.
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and confident with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Creative with strong visual skills (knows what good photography looks like).
- Good communicator with strong written English.
- PC literate – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
