About NO SAINT

NO SAINT is a ground-breaking UK vaping brand and technology platform built for adults who demand better. Launched into UK retail in 2026 with a clear focus on adult smokers, NO SAINT is the vape everyone is switching to because of its attention to detail and clear obsession with catering to consumers who want better. NO SAINT has been working hard to build its user base and now has over 175,000 users nationally. Now it's time to build a field team on the ground to go where those users shop, through independent convenience stores and local retailers. This role sits at the heart of that growth.

Role Overview

We are building out our Business Development team, starting with three London territories: East, South West and South East. Each Business Development Manager owns and drives their own territory. Our users are already out there, and they want to buy NO SAINT where they already shop. Your job is to follow that demand in your area: identify the independent stores and local MSOs (multi-store operators) where our users shop, secure NO SAINT on shelf, and turn every listing into consistent sales out and repeat orders. This is a hands-on, own-your-patch role. You will open new independent accounts, build lasting relationships with local MSO owners and buyers, and grow rate of sale store by store. You are accountable for new distribution, sales out performance, and re-order rates across your territory, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial.

Why Join NO SAINT

  • The demand is already there. With over 175,000 users nationally, you are not cold selling an unknown brand; you are putting NO SAINT where existing users already want to buy it.
  • Genuine ownership. Your territory, your plan, your results, with the autonomy to run it like your own business.
  • Ground-floor opportunity. Join as we build our field team, and help shape how NO SAINT goes to market in independent retail.
  • Direct line to leadership. Report straight into the Head of Commercial, with your ideas and field insight shaping strategy.
  • A brand people are switching to. A product built with obsessive attention to detail that retailers and consumers want.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Ownership & New Business

  • Own and build your territory as your own business, with a clear plan for where NO SAINT needs to be stocked.
  • Use NO SAINT user and sampling data to map where existing users live, work, and shop, and target those stores first.
  • Prospect, pitch, and open new independent retail accounts across convenience, vape specialists, tobacconists, and off-licences.
  • Convert interest into first orders, securing NO SAINT on shelf with agreed range, pricing, and visibility.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of target stores, prioritised by user demand and sales potential.

Local MSO Relationships

  • Identify and build relationships with local MSOs and independent retail groups operating across your territory.
  • Engage owners, buyers, and area managers to secure multi-site listings and roll NO SAINT out across their estates.
  • Agree range, pricing, promotional, and visibility plans, and ensure they are executed consistently across every site.
  • Hold regular business reviews with key MSO partners covering performance, opportunities, and next steps.

Sales Out & Re-Orders

  • Drive sales out, not just sell in, through staff education, POS placement, and in-store visibility.
  • Make sure store staff can confidently recommend NO SAINT to adult smokers and existing users.
  • Monitor stock levels and rate of sale, and proactively secure re-orders before stores run out.
  • Use retailer incentives and promotions to keep accounts engaged after the first order.
  • Turn first orders into loyal, repeat-ordering accounts with growing range and facings.

Field Execution & Standards

  • Visit accounts on a planned call cycle across your territory, ensuring consistent coverage and that no high-value stores are neglected.
  • Check execution standards including POS placement, brand messaging, regulatory compliance, and staff product knowledge.
  • Identify execution gaps and resolve them quickly with store owners and MSO partners.

This role requires active field presence and a hands-on approach.

Reporting & Intelligence

  • Provide structured weekly reporting to the Head of Commercial covering new accounts opened, MSO progress, sales out, and re-order rates versus targets.
  • Surface market intelligence (competitor activity, retailer sentiment, pricing, and emerging opportunities) from time spent in the field.
  • Track and maintain accurate store-level data to support planning and territory decisions.

Events & Trade Shows

  • Support planning and attendance at trade shows and industry events as required.
  • Represent NO SAINT professionally and use events to generate new independent and MSO leads.
  • Follow up on leads quickly and convert them into listings.

Skills & Experience

We care more about attitude than sector. If you love selling, build relationships naturally, and have the grit to build something great from the ground up, we want to hear from you.

  • Proven sales experience is essential: field sales, business development, or account management in any sector, such as FMCG, drinks, tobacco, telecoms, or anywhere you have sold face to face.
  • Genuinely enjoys sales: opening doors, winning new business, and hitting targets.
  • A natural relationship builder who earns the trust of store owners and buyers, and keeps it.
  • Grit and drive to build something great: resilient, persistent, and motivated by results.
  • Commercially sharp and confident negotiating range, pricing, and visibility with store owners and buyers.
  • Self-starter who wants to own a territory, prioritise effectively, and report back clearly without being micromanaged.
  • Strong local knowledge of the area you would cover.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.

Advantageous

  • Experience in vape, tobacco, or independent convenience retail.
  • Experience working with MSOs, symbol groups, or independent retail groups.
  • A track record of opening new accounts and growing them into repeat-ordering customers.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The role operates on a core schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Due to the field-based nature of the role, flexibility is required to support early starts, late finishes, and trade shows where necessary.

What We Offer

  • £32,000 to £35,000 base salary per annum, depending on location.
  • £5,000 annual car allowance.
  • Workplace pension.
  • 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
  • 15% performance bonus (subject to targets).
  • Monthly phone allowance, laptop and tablet.
  • Full onboarding, product, and category training. No vape experience needed.
  • Clear progression as NO SAINT scales. As new territories open and the field team grows, our best performers will be first in line for senior and leadership roles.

The Role in One Line

Each Business Development Manager owns their territory: following NO SAINT's existing users to where they shop, securing the brand on shelf across independent retail and local MSOs, and driving the sales out and re-orders that turn distribution into a brand.
