We\βre now launching a Tattoo Training Academy, a first-of-its-kind initiative that will shape the next generation of tattoo artists and redefine industry standards.
We\βre seeking a Company Training Manager (12m FTC) to lead this transformative project and support the ongoing training and development needs across our growing company.
Position Overview
The Company Training Manager will play a key strategic and operational role at No Regrets. This person will lead the creation, launch, and ongoing management of the No Regrets Tattoo Training Academy, while also overseeing broader training initiatives across the organization. You\βll collaborate with internal experts, artists, and external partners to design industry-leading training programs, ensuring consistency, excellence, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Tattoo Training Academy Leadership
- Lead the development and successful launch of the No Regrets Tattoo Training Academy
- Design curriculum, training modules, and certification pathways for aspiring tattoo artists
- Liaise with relevant teams and external platforms in regard to scheduling, diary management and trainee journey/progress
- Work with internal artists, guest professionals, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality training
- Ensure the academy meets all industry regulations, hygiene standards, and legal requirements
- Build partnerships with accreditation bodies and educational institutions as needed
Company-Wide Training & Development
- Assess training needs across departments and develop tailored programs for employee growth
- Implement onboarding and continuous development plans for all staff, including artists, Junior artists, and studio managers
- Monitor training effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback
- Champion a culture of learning, development, and innovation throughout the company
Operational & Strategic Duties
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines related to training initiatives
- Lead a small team of training staff and coordinators (as the department grows)
- Report to senior leadership on progress, outcomes, and strategic opportunities
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging techniques, and best practices in both tattoo artistry and adult education
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Proven experience in training management, learning and development, or educational program development
- Strong project management skills with experience launching or managing an academy, school, or training platform
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
- Confidence working in a creative, fast-paced, and evolving environment
- Passion for artistic industries, education, or tattoo culture
Preferred:
- Background in the tattoo industry or experience working in creative/alternative sectors
- Knowledge of adult education, learning design, or vocational training certification standards
- Experience in health and safety or regulatory compliance related to tattooing or body art
