We’re a camera & kit rental company serving commercials, promos, drama, features, factual and entertainment production. We operate from Salford, Liverpool, Glasgow and Newcastle, supporting productions with responsive service and well-prepped packages.
The role
You’ll be a key part of our Hire Desk—the first point of contact for clients and suppliers—coordinating bookings end-to-end and working closely with our technical team to ensure kits are scheduled, sourced, prepped and shipped on time.
What you’ll do
- Report to the Hire Manager and work closely with our Technical Department.
- Handle high-volume enquiries (phone & email) and own bookings from quote to return.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with production clients and suppliers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our inventory and schedule the correct kit.
- Track outgoing/returning equipment and keep accurate records in our rental system.
- Flag low inventory and arrange cross-hires; raise POs and book couriers.
- Keep clear, timely comms across departments to hit prep and dispatch deadlines.
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years in a rental, production, or post environment (hire desk or similar).
- Proactive, organised multitasker with sharp attention to detail.
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving in fast-paced settings.
- Confident with rental/CRM tools and spreadsheets; technical curiosity about camera/grip/audio kit.
- Flexibility to support occasional evenings/weekends during peak shoots (with TOIL or overtime per policy).
- Cycle to Work, Season Ticket Loan, and EV (OZEV) salary-sacrifice schemes.
- Training and development with progression opportunities across offices.
