We are looking for an exceptional VFX Lead / Supervisor to help drive the creative and technical direction of high-profile advertising campaigns and music promos. Experience working on long-form projects is also beneficial. This is a role for someone who can own a project from initial bid through shoot to final delivery. You will combine creative vision, advanced technical expertise, and confident client management to deliver outstanding visual work under tight deadlines.
Working closely with the Creative Director and production team, you will shape the visual approach, supervise shoots, lead artists, and ensure every frame meets the highest artistic and technical standards. You will be equally comfortable in the suite, on set, and in client meetings, guiding teams, solving complex challenges, and building lasting client relationships.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven ability to lead projects from script and storyboard through bidding, shoot, post and delivery.
- Advanced compositing expertise in Flame and/or Nuke on complex, high-end VFX projects.
- Strong on-set supervision experience, including tracking markers, lens grids, Macbeth charts, HDRIs, data capture and LIDAR.
- Deep understanding of the full VFX pipeline, colourspace workflows, CG rendering and photoreal integration.
- Advanced 2D and 3D camera tracking, matte painting projections, set extensions, beauty work, car augmentation and full-CG compositing.
- Experience managing, mentoring and inspiring teams, while overseeing freelance and outsource artists.
- Confidence bidding projects accurately from scripts and storyboards.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and grow strong relationships.
- Experience researching and implementing new technologies, including integrating Generative AI tools into VFX workflows.
- A sharp creative eye for colour, light, photography and detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines.
