Tropic is entering an exciting new chapter. Alongside a complete rebrand, we are putting a renewed spotlight on the heart of our business: our Ambassadors. For over a decade, our direct sales model has powered Tropic’s growth. Now, we’re ready to amplify that story, showing the world just how powerful and inspiring it is to be part of our Ambassador community.
As Senior Marketing Manager, reporting into the Marketing Director, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of Tropic’s core brand marketing, spanning both DTC and Ambassador communications. This role sits within a highly collaborative marketing function, with strong leadership alignment and support from specialist teams across the business. You will work closely alongside Creative, Digital, PR and Product Marketing teams, ensuring all output is joined‑up and consistent across the full marketing mix. You’ll be responsible for bringing the Tropic brand to life through joined‑up, multi‑channel campaigns that drive growth, engagement, and belief in our opportunity. This is a senior, hands‑on role combining creative thinking, leadership, and execution.
You’ll ensure that:
- Ambassadors remain central to the Tropic story
- Marketing activity feels cohesive, exciting and consistent
- Both Ambassadors and customers feel engaged, equipped and inspired
Key Responsibilities
- Core Brand & Ambassador Marketing: Lead and deliver Tropic’s core brand marketing strategy, covering both DTC and Ambassador B2B communications. Ensure Ambassadors are consistently positioned as the heroes of our brand story - celebrating their businesses, successes and impact. Keep the brand “alive” across launches, incentives, events, campaigns and always‑on communications.
- Team Leadership & Execution: Lead the Core Marketing Team, including Marketing Executives, Content Writers and the organic Social Media team. Provide clear direction, prioritisation and support, ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard and on time. Act as a senior executor – able to lead, roll out and refine campaigns, while contributing creatively to their development.
- Campaigns, Engagement & Experience: Oversee the marketing calendar to ensure campaigns, launches and communications are cohesive, well‑paced and aligned to brand and business priorities. Work closely with the Ambassador Development team to create marketing strategies that support Ambassador recruitment and retention, incentives and recognition, events and community engagement, and business tools and resources. Ensure Ambassadors are equipped with compelling, easy‑to‑use marketing assets that enable them to market Tropic confidently to their own customers.
- DTC & Brand Engagement: Ensure DTC customers remain engaged and inspired through strong brand storytelling, campaigns, offers and communications. Balance commercial objectives with emotional brand connection, ensuring Tropic remains desirable, values‑led and differentiated.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative, Digital, PR, Product and Ambassador Development teams to deliver joined‑up marketing output. Work alongside product‑specific marketers across skincare, makeup, haircare and beyond, ensuring category campaigns and NPD launches align with the wider brand strategy, calendar and tone of voice. Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers and category teams to ensure launches and product campaigns align with the wider brand strategy, tone of voice and calendar.
- Data, Performance & Insight: Define and track KPIs across campaigns and channels, using insights to optimise performance and inform future planning. Share learnings and results with the Marketing Director, contributing to ongoing strategy refinement.
- Core Brand Projects: Oversee delivery of central brand assets and projects, including Beauty Brochure and product catalogues, product guides and toolkits, and core brand campaigns that span multiple categories.
- Infinite Purpose: Champion Tropic’s 10% for the World commitment, working with charity and sustainability partners to build compelling storytelling and awareness. Ensure purpose‑led messaging is woven meaningfully into brand communications and campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 8 years’ marketing experience, ideally within the luxury beauty, lifestyle, or direct‑selling sectors.
- Proven experience in team leadership and delivering multi‑channel, insight‑led marketing campaigns.
- Strategic thinker with a strong creative instinct – able to combine vision and execution to drive measurable results.
- Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, with an understanding of ambassador or direct‑selling business models a real plus.
- Deep understanding of how to build brand desirability and community appeal across demographics and markets.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience in KPI tracking and marketing performance analysis.
