We're looking for a creatively fearless, ideas‑first Content Creator to join our team and help us evolve how we show up across social – primarily on Instagram and TikTok. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role for someone who lives and breathes content. The kind of person who’s constantly spotting trends, thinking of new formats, and isn’t afraid to grab an iPhone and start filming. Whether it’s jumping on a trend, heading down to the warehouse to capture behind‑the‑scenes moments, or taking to the streets for interviews, you’ll be at the heart of creating content that feels fresh, real, and engaging.

At the core of this role is the ability to take who we are as a brand – our essence, our values, how we live and breathe Tropic – and translate that into content that truly resonates on each platform. This isn’t about diluting the brand; it’s about shaping what Tropic looks like on Instagram and TikTok, putting our products and business into the right formats for the right audiences, while keeping everything distinctly and authentically us. You’ll be the creator of that voice. You’ll help navigate what Tropic looks like on these platforms, helping us show up in a way that feels native and engaging to each audience while staying true to who we are.

You’ll play a key role in bringing new energy into the brand, helping us grow engagement by experimenting with ideas, testing formats, and creating content that connects with our community in an authentic and entertaining way. • Generate fresh, original content ideas designed to drive engagement across Instagram and TikTok, based on the strategy set by the Social Media Manager.
• Translate the Tropic brand – our identity, values, and way of doing things – into content formats and styles that are right for each platform and its audience.
• Help define and shape what Tropic looks and feels like on Instagram and TikTok, navigating platform nuances while keeping our essence intact.
• Shoot and produce content using an iPhone in a variety of environments, from the office to the warehouse, to on‑the‑go to Tropic events.
• Edit content using tools such as CapCut or similar, ensuring a native, platform‑first feel.
• Confidently appear on camera when needed, bringing personality and energy to content.
• Capture reactive, trend‑led content quickly and creatively.
• Get involved in street‑style interviews, behind‑the‑scenes footage, GRWM and day‑in‑the‑life style content.
• Collaborate with the wider marketing and brand teams to align content with campaigns and key moments.
• Continuously test and learn, iterating on content based on performance and engagement.
• Stay up to date with social trends, creators, and platform updates, bringing new ideas to the team.

• A passion for content creation, social media, and storytelling.
• A genuine understanding of Instagram and TikTok, how they differ, what works on each, and how to adapt content accordingly.
• Someone who is proactive, self‑starting, and excited to bring new ideas to life.
• Confident both behind and in front of the camera.
• Comfortable filming in different environments and thinking on your feet.
• Editing skills (CapCut or similar) with a strong understanding of short‑form content.
• A strong sense of what makes engaging, scroll‑stopping content.
• Willingness to experiment, take creative risks, and try new formats.
• Positive, energetic, and collaborative attitude.
• A keen interest and passion for the beauty and skincare industry.

• Employment Type: This role is offered full‑time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
• Location: Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.
• Hybrid Working: Enjoy a blend of office and remote working with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
• Salary: Starting from £26,250.
