We're looking for a Bulk Processing Technician to join our factory team, playing a hands‑on role in the creation of high‑quality cosmetic and personal care products. You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day manufacturing of bulk products, working closely with both the production and R&D teams to ensure every batch meets our quality and safety standards. This is a varied, process‑driven role that sits at the heart of our factory operations. This is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing bulk products, inspecting raw materials and ingredients for contaminants and verifying correct quantities using production equipment.
  • Ensuring all machinery is correctly set up, functioning, and calibrated prior to use.
  • Starting, monitoring, and controlling manufacturing processes to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Carrying out basic root cause analysis when process issues arise.
  • Sampling products at appropriate stages of production.
  • Performing simple in‑process testing where required.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures, methodologies, and BMR/batch records accurately at all times.
  • Collaborating with the R&D team on trials, pilots, first five batches, and any new process changes.
  • Supporting the wider production team as needed to meet output targets.
  • Weighing raw materials accurately as required.
  • Entering correct and complete data into all required documentation and systems.
  • Collecting batch materials from the weighing team.
  • Moving finished bulk product to the warehouse or filling area.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards across all working areas.
  • Cleaning all equipment after use and sanitising prior to next use.
  • Managing waste in accordance with company procedures.
  • Working accurately and safely in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
  • Adhering to COSHH guidelines at all times.
  • Ensuring appropriate PPE is worn throughout.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, or a related process industry.
  • A good understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) principles.
  • Comfortable following detailed SOPs and batch documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • A methodical, detail‑oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Basic numeracy skills for accurate weighing and data entry.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to support across teams when needed.
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Experience using or operating industrial production equipment is an advantage.

  • Employment Type: This role is offered full‑time, either Monday to Thursday, 7am to 7pm or Tuesday to Friday 7am to 7pm.

  • Salary: £15 per hour.
