Coffee Shop Manager Location: Loughbrickland / Banbridge Hours: Full Time, permanent Salary: Competitive salary, depending on experience About the Role We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Coffee Shop Manager to join our team and take the lead in running our busy coffee shop. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for great coffee, excellent customer service, and creating a positive team environment. You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the coffee shop, supporting and developing the team, and ensuring consistently high standards across all areas of the business. Essential Experience Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the following areas: Management experience, ideally within hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment Previous barista experience in a busy coffee shop Strong coffee shop or café experience Experience leading, supporting, and motivating a team Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently Prepare and manage theweekly staff rota, ensuring appropriate staffing levels across all shifts Order, monitor, and managestock and supplies, minimising waste and maintaining appropriate stock levels Manage thetill, cash handling, and daily cashing-up procedures Lead, train, motivate, and support the team to deliverexcellent coffee and outstanding customer service Overseeopening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks and checks are completed correctly Maintain consistently high standards ofcleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and presentation Ensure the coffee shop is well presented and operating to a high standard throughout the day Take responsibility for thecoffee equipment, including routine checks and ensuring the coffee machine is maintained correctly Adjust grinder settings and ensure coffee is consistently prepared to the required standard Lead by example, creating a welcoming, positive, and professional environment for both customers and staff The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about coffee, hospitality, and customer service Confident and experienced in leading a busy team Organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure Hands-on and willing to get involved in all aspects of the coffee shop Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues Committed to maintaining high standards and delivering an excellent customer experience If you are an experienced coffee shop professional looking for an opportunity to lead a great team and play a key role in the success of a busy coffee shop, we would love to hear from you.
