Hello Bath is now recruiting for a Welcome Team Member at No. 15 Bath by GuestHouse on Great Pulteney Street. Think you can make guests feel as relaxed as a dip in the Roman Baths? Can you turn a weary traveller into a smiling guest faster than you can say “room with a view”? Here at No. 15 Bath by GuestHouse, we’re a small but stylish, family-run boutique hotel, and we’re looking for a Welcome Team Member who knows how to turn arrivals into warm, memorable beginnings, much like a good Jane Austen novel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting travellers, spa-seekers, and history lovers with genuine charm.
- Checking in/out guests smoothly (no queuing stress, just calm waters).
- Offering local tips - whether it’s the best independent café, a hidden Georgian gem, or the prettiest walk along the Avon.
- Keeping the lobby as welcoming and elegant as the city itself.
What we’re looking for:
- A people-person with effortless warmth and a knack for conversation.
- Organised enough to juggle check-ins, emails, and questions like “which way to the Crescent?”
- Someone who can make guests feel part of Bath’s story, not just visitors passing through.
- Hospitality experience helps, but personality is what truly counts.
If your aspiration is to work for a company that understands you and trusts your instincts when it comes to hospitality and you’ve been looking for this kind of role for a while, guess what, we’ve been looking for you too!
What’s in it for you!
- Work in a stylish, intimate hotel that feels more like a home than a group of hotels.
- Be part of a small, close-knit team where your ideas matter.
- Competitive pay, and plenty of guest-powered stories.
- An extra holiday day for your birthday.
- All breaks are paid.
- Our team have their own team room - with their own pantry full of food, to use whenever they like. Grab a snack!
- Plus, get a free meal on shift.
- You can stay/dine with your family and friends in any of our hotels/restaurants/spas at a great discount.
The satisfaction of turning a city break into a cherished memory. If you can say “welcome to Bath” with warmth, wit, and a touch of style, we’d love to meet you.
