Key responsibilities- Deliver peri‑operative assessment and anaesthesia for adult patients across all specialties, as appropriate to training and experience.
- Provide specialist trauma anaesthesia services.
- Assist in on‑call commitments (approx. 1:20) and cover emergency on‑call work.
- Contribute to the Trust's Clinical Governance programme, including clinical audit, quality improvement, guideline development, appraisal and risk management.
- Participate in peri‑operative assessment clinics when required.
- Provide paediatric anaesthesia as part of a separate on‑call rota.
- Full GMC registration and licence to practice.
- Relevant specialist training or experience in trauma anaesthesia.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical governance and quality improvement.
