Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and clients throughout the immigration process. Legal & Casework S. immigration applications for submission to USCIS and U.Assisting attorneys with investor visa and intracompany transfer matters, including E-2, L-1 and related applications. Identifying legal, evidentiary and practical issues and escalating them appropriately. Communicating directly with clients by email and telephone and helping to manage client expectations. Conducting legal and procedural research using primary sources, USCIS guidance, U.Embassy and Consular resources and relevant legal databases. Supporting attorneys with ad hoc research and legal projects. Preparing and quality-checking complete application packages for submission. Monitoring deadlines and ensuring that case milestones are met. Proofreading legal documents and correspondence to an exceptionally high standard. Assisting with internal meetings and team projects. Supporting the office manager with ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects. We are looking for someone who is exceptionally capable, switched-on and motivated to help. A university degree, preferably in law or a related discipline. S. legal background, with previous experience in a legal environment highly desirable. Excellent legal research, analytical and critical-thinking skills Outstanding written English and an exceptional eye for detail Strong commercial awareness and an interest in understanding our clients' businesses Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with technology and electronic document systems. S. immigration experience is not essential.
