Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
Location: Stoke, Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds

Our client, a prestigious mid-tier firm who is one of the largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, are currently looking for Corporate Tax Assistant Managers to join their teams in the above-mentioned locations.
As an Assistant Manager in their Manchester, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds or Stoke office, you will be an integral part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team, that supports and advises a range of interesting and expanding companies who operate in a range of sectors. These include technology, manufacturing, leisure and tourism, retail, professional services and construction.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Play a key role in the client service team, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sector
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and coordinating delivery of work internally
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver clear, concise, and technically accurate tax advice that adds real value
- Advise on a broad range of technical areas, including: loss relief, interest deductibility, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, group and shareholder reorganisations, international tax matters, and acquisitions & disposals
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a high-quality, joined-up service, including:
- Supporting the transactions team on tax due diligence projects
- Working with restructuring advisory on distress and insolvency cases
- Identify tax risks and opportunities to help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals
- Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge, contributing to your own growth and the wider team
- Support and coach junior team members, providing guidance with confidence and helping them develop professionally
What We're Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA (part) qualified.
- Background in an accountancy practice with good knowledge of corporate tax.
- Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Experience of using specialist tax software is advantageous.
