This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team within the North & Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency, leading technological developments and tunnel services that are essential for safety and connectivity across the strategic road network.

In this role, you will assist the Technology Supervisor by undertaking the full range of duties associated with the supervisor’s post and all electrical, mechanical and communication work required for the installation and maintenance of all technology assets associated with North Wales Traffic Management system, A55 tunnels, trunk road bridges and intelligent transport systems.

Qualifications and Relevant Training

  • Highway Technology Asset competencies i.e qualified HEA/NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Have experience in the highway technology field and be able to undertake communication and electrical inspections of highway technology assets as required

Skills and Specialist Knowledge

  • Demonstrate ability to make on site decisions as and when required
  • Experience of carrying out highway technology electrical/communication certificates and conditional reports
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work
  • Knowledge of Working at Height regulations
  • The ability to speak English is essential for this role.
