Job Description: LGV Skip & Hooklift Driver (Class 2 / Cat C) (£15- £16.81 basic + overtime at £18 after 40 hours)
We are looking for an LGV Driver to join our client's busy Chester depot, carrying out skip and hooklift work across the local area. This is a full-time, permanent role offering consistent hours, regular overtime, and the opportunity to earn an average of £15-£16.81 per hour based on a 45-hour working week.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle to customer sites
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips / hooklift containers
- Ensuring safe loading, transport, and return to site
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
What we're looking for:
- Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC card (essential)
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- A reliable, hard-working attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to undertake physical work
What we offer:
- 40-hour contracted week + regular overtime available
- Overtime paid at £18 per hour (after 40 hours)
- Average earnings of £15- £16.81 per hour*
