We are seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retail store deliveries across the UK.
Duties:
- Drive Class 1 HGV
- Unload via tail lift
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
Shift & Pay:
- 4 ON 4 OFF OR 5 ON 3 OFF
- Monday to Friday days - £178
- Saturday Days - £190
- Sunday Days - £200
- Monday to Friday Nights - £190
- Saturday Night - £200
- Sunday Night - £225
The above rates are inclusive of Holiday pay. Holiday pay can also be separately accrued.
Skills:
- Possess a valid C+E Class 1 HGV licence - 24+ Months C+E experience
- Valid CPC and tachograph
- No more than 6 points for MINOR offences
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
