The Role
As an HGV Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and road ready. You'll work on a varied fleet of HGV vehicles, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and inspections to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on a range of HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and complete effective repairs
- Repair or replace damaged and worn components
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are fully operational
- Respond to unscheduled repairs and urgent checks
- Fit and service accessories such as radios and alarms
- Complete vehicle servicing and maintain accurate service records
What We're Looking For
- Experience within the service or automotive industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- HGV Class 2 licence
