LCV Technician - Reading Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to develop your skills within a main dealership? NMS Recruit is seeking an LCV Technician to join an established workshop in Reading, working on vans and light commercial vehicles. This is an opportunity to build your technical knowledge through ongoing manufacturer training, with support for your long-term career development. You'll carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, helping keep customers' vehicles safe, reliable and on the road. The Role ·Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles. ·Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. ·Complete minor and major repairs to manufacturer standards. ·Identify worn or faulty components and report any additional work required. ·Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting as required. ·Complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation accurately using workshop systems. ·Work closely with the workshop and service teams to complete repairs within agreed timescales. ·Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow health and safety procedures. What We're Looking For ·A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle or Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, such as NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI. ·Experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs. ·A thorough approach to fault-finding and a commitment to quality workmanship. ·The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team. ·A full UK driving licence appropriate to the vehicles being driven.
