We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established and busy team based in Sutterton, Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in parts, stores, stock management, retail or customer service who is looking to develop their career within a busy engineering and machinery environment. You will work closely with the Parts & Retail Manager and play an important role in supporting customers and technicians with parts enquiries, orders and day-to-day requirements.
The Role
- Dealing with customer and technician enquiries relating to machinery and vehicle parts.
- Serving customers at the front counter, face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Processing, picking and dispatching customer orders.
- Providing accurate parts information and assisting customers in identifying the correct products.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the parts department and stores.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock management.
- Organising and maintaining the stores area to ensure parts are easy to locate and readily available.
- Assisting with stock movements, deliveries and general stores duties.
About you
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a parts, stores, stock control, retail or customer-facing environment.
- Previous experience working within a parts, stores or stock environment.
- Strong organisational and stock management skills.
- Experience serving customers from a front counter or showroom environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
£27000 - £35000 per annum, Benefits: Uncapped commission, excellent holidays, long term progression
