Monday - Friday 6am-3.30pm & 1.30pm-10pm / 1 in 2 Saturdays (half day)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle dealership in Crayford, Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician to join a manufacturer-backed workshop, working on a wide range of modern heavy commercial vehicles in a professional and well-equipped environment.

The Crayford operation has a dedicated commercial vehicle workshop with multiple full-length bays, alongside specialist testing and maintenance facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.

Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.

Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify complex vehicle faults.

Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, braking, suspension, steering and drivetrain systems.

Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

Carry out electrical fault-finding and repairs, including modern vehicle electrical systems.

Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within required timescales.

Complete accurate job cards, inspection sheets and associated paperwork.

Identify additional repair requirements and communicate these effectively to the Workshop Controller.

Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
