We are proud to be partnered with a nationwide transport business, who are looking for skilled HGV Technicians ready to take the next step in their career at their first-class facility in Cross Hands. The company is a well-established provider of HGV maintenance and repair services for over 40 years, working with one of the most recognised manufacturers in the world to keep their vehicles on the road.
The role has a particular focus around the maintenance and repair of a fleet of trucks and trailers. We are looking for passionate people to join this mission and drive the business forwards; it is an opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing, most forward-thinking teams in the transport industry.
The Requirements:
- Qualification in Heavy Goods Maintenance or experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of routine truck and trailer repairs and servicing
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis
- Experience preparing trailers for MOT testing
- Have own basic tools, with larger equipment provided on site
- Exposure to elements of welding and metal working
The Package:
- £45,000+ earnings (OTE)
- Overtime paid 1.5x hourly rate with plenty available
- Monday to Friday - Earlies/Lates
- Life assurance
- £1,000 refer a friend scheme
- Opportunity to complete training such as IRTEC, LOLER and BPW
