This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist technology business as Sales Lead for its 2D/3D Vision & Measurement Portfolio, taking ownership of a strategically important product group and helping drive its continued growth across the UK market. The Role This is not a traditional sales role - it is a senior commercial appointment with responsibility for leading the sales development of the 2D/3D product portfolio. You'll sit at the intersection of technical applications, customer problem-solving and commercial strategy, helping manufacturers understand what is technically possible while identifying and developing the right opportunities for the 2D/3D portfolio. You'll work with customers on everything from profile and dimensional measurement through to surface inspection, quality control and automated inspection, leading opportunities from the initial technical conversation through testing, demonstration, commercial development and ultimately the sale. You'll be dealing with technologies including: ·2D/3D laser profile scanners ·3D snapshot sensors ·Surface inspection and standard 2D camera technology ·Optical measurement ·3D inspection software ·Sensor interfaces and industrial communications ·Automation and system integration Who We're Looking For We'd particularly like to speak with experienced people coming from backgrounds such as: ·Senior Technical Sales Engineer ·Sales Manager - Machine Vision / Automation ·Business Development Manager - Vision / Inspection ·Senior Applications Engineer ·Machine Vision Engineer ·3D Vision Engineer ·Field Applications Engineer ·Metrology / Measurement Specialist ·Automation / Robotics Sales Engineer ·Vision Systems Engineer Your background could be within: ·Machine vision and industrial imaging ·2D/3D inspection and measurement ·Metrology ·Industrial automation ·Robotics ·Sensors and instrumentation ·Advanced manufacturing technology ·Quality inspection ·Controls ·Machine building ·System integration Experience with 2D/3D laser scanners, machine vision, 3D inspection, PLCs, robotics, automation, industrial measurement or camera-based inspection would be particularly valuable. Experience developing strategic accounts, product lines or technically complex sales opportunities would also be highly advantageous.
