The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician / Coach Fitter / Bus Engineer to join an established engineering team based in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial vehicle technician to work on a modern fleet of high-specification coaches, carrying out a wide range of mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and preventative maintenance work. Working straight days 7am till 5pm, Monday - Friday - no weekends or rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of PSV and coach vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostic work
- Repair and replace worn or defective components
- Complete preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
- Carry out pre-MOT inspections and prepare vehicles for testing
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability
- Complete maintenance records and inspection paperwork accurately
- Work to manufacturer specifications and company maintenance procedures
- Support the wider engineering team to ensure maximum vehicle availability
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across all maintenance and repair activities

- Previous experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Engineer, Coach Fitter or HGV Technician
