This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organisation, helping to drive safety, quality, environmental, and compliance standards across a diverse portfolio of telecoms infrastructure projects.
NMS Recruit are seeking a proactive and experienced SHEQ professional to lead and develop the company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality function. This is a pivotal role where you'll have the autonomy to create, implement and continuously improve the SHEQ strategy, ensuring compliance, driving best practice and fostering a strong safety culture across the business.
You'll be responsible for developing and owning the SHEQ management plan, conducting site audits, overseeing document control and compliance processes, and providing expert guidance to operational teams across the UK. The role is primarily office-based, with regular travel to sites required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a SHEQ/HSEQ role within the telecommunications industry
- Site safety management experience across telecoms and infrastructure projects
- Understanding of rigging, working at height and RF safety requirements
- Knowledge of electrical works and associated safety standards
- Familiarity with DNO power connections and fibre/comms transmission projects
- NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent SHEQ qualification
