As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of LPG and electrically powered industrial cleaning machines. The role involves both reactive fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
You will work closely with customers and internal teams, adhering strictly to manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and health & safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, and repair LPG and electric industrial cleaning machines
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
- Deliver a high standard of customer service on-site
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Manage workload independently while meeting service schedules
- Relevant technical or engineering qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in a field service or similar engineering role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of electrical systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulic principles
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
