A fantastic opportunity has arisen to joining this well established Accountancy practice based in Chester. My client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join their team. The role will include maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Payroll/Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation. Responsibilities include: Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll. Gradually learn and undertake various accounting tasks. Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data. Maintain payroll records and employee information. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documents. Provide administrative support to the accounts department. Addressing client queries with HMRC Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns Compiling personal tax computations and returns Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns This is an office based role working 37.5 hours per week – Monday- Friday working between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm There is an attractive salary and benefits package on offer for this role and the opportu…
