In addition to an accelerated learning opportunity, the successful applicant will play an important role in the growth of our small business and will gain immediate, hands-on experience across a diverse range of work types.
Responsibilities:
- The successful applicant will be involved in a mixed range of legal costs matters, arising out of various types of substantive litigation.
- Duties will involve a combination of the following:
- Preparing and drafting Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets and other costs pleadings, such as Points of Dispute and Points of Reply.
- Conducting negotiations in respect of costs claims and drafting associated advice.
- Ad-hoc tasks to assist the directors on larger costs project work.
- Liaising with legal representatives and other stakeholders as necessary to further costs processes.
- Some administrative duties to assist in understanding how the business operates.
- Full training will be provided in connection with all of the above.

What we offer in return:
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working – The applicant should expect to commute to an office in Central Manchester during the initial training period and approx. 3 times per week upon completion of training.
