Vacancy Location: Ellesmere Port

Engagement Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 9 hours per day Monday to Thursday (Fridays off!)

Job Summary: Working within the Materials, Processes and Testing (MP&T) team, you will play a key role in materials development and qualification. You will work with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to test and validate materials supporting our clients' world leading safety solutions. Driven, organised and multi-disciplined engineers will thrive in this role and enjoy the day-to-day variety it offers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and manage technical requirements to create and execute material qualification programme plans.
  • Advise on material selection by evaluating material properties and recommending suitable materials for specific applications.
  • Act as a point of contact for material and process queries, and improvement activities.
  • Assist with R&D activities on new materials and processes to achieve the strategic growth of the business.
  • Lead and accelerate multiple materials qualification activities, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and manage risk whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Work closely with supply chain and quality departments to ensure robust materials compliance.
