Area: Leek
Rate: £12.21 per standard hour.
Hours: 7am – 4.30pm ( working 3 to 4 days per week)
Saturday 6.30am – 12.30pm (depending on the needs of the business but flexibility is required)
Our Client has an immediate start for someone to join their busy Industrial Laundry. You must beable to use a computer and software to input quantities of the products (training will be provided)
You will work 3/4 Days per week, one of which will be a Saturday.
Other responsibilities of laundry assistant will also be required. Again training will be given but they do require a candidate who is self motivated and enthusiastic.
The Role:
As a Laundry Assistant, youll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. No previous experience is required, as we offer full training. Youll be part of a supportive team, where your hard work and dedication will make a real impact on the service they provide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, press bed linen, and fold towels to our high standards
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently
- Assemble, prepare, and pack orders for delivery
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the workflow is smooth and timely
- Carry out manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and moving laundry items
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
