Als bestuurder rangeringen speel je een cruciale rol in het dagelijks treinverkeer. Jij zorgt er mee voor dat de reizigers één van de 3800 treinen kunnen nemen naar hun bestemming.
Je behaalde een getuigschrift van de derde graad van het secundair onderwijs (na 6 jaar) (ASO/TSO/KSO - OK 4) (BSO - OK 3) of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest. Je hebt een Belgische of EU-nationaliteit. Je gebruikt je inzicht om problemen te analyseren en op te lossen. Je laat het werk graag vooruitgaan. Je neemt geen afwachtende houding aan. Je houdt van een flexibel uurrooster en bent bereid ook in het weekend en op feestdagen te werken.

Je solliciteert online. Je geeft hierbij toestemming voor een veiligheidsverificatie. We lezen aandachtig je cv. Je legt een online test af (eliminerend). Doel is te beoordelen of je de belangrijkste capaciteiten hebt om te slagen voor de opleiding tot bestuurder rangeringen. Je volgt een e-learning waarin je een antwoord krijgt op al je vragen. Je wordt gecontacteerd voor een eliminerende telefonische screening waarbij we jouw motivatie testen en kijken of je een match bent met de job. Je wordt uitgenodigd voor een sollicitatiegesprek. Om dit gesprek te kunnen afleggen dien je de brochure ‘basiskennis treinbestuurder’ in te studeren. In het sollicitatiegesprek checken we verder je motivatie en stellen we je technische vragen uit de brochure ‘basiskennis treinbestuurder’. Om dit gesprek voor te bereiden, vul je ook een persoonlijkheidsvragenlijst in. Zijn wij én jij overtuigd? Dan word je uitgenodigd voor een medisch en een psychologisch onderzoek. De job van treinbestuurder is immers een job met veel verantwoordelijkheid. Alles in orde? Je bezorgt ons enkele administratieve documenten. Je start bij NMBS en begint quasi onmiddellijk met je betaalde opleiding.
