Als mecanicien speel je een sleutelrol bij NMBS. Dankzij jou kunnen de reizigers rekenen op veilige treinen. Jij draagt mee bij aan een stipte en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening.
Je voert schouwingen, onderhoud en herstellingen uit op de mechanische componenten van onze (motor)rijtuigen en locomotieven. Je analyseert problemen op basis van plannen en pneumatische schema’s. Je spoort fouten op en herstelt ze. Je bouwt expertise op over het treinmaterieel.
Mechanica is uiteraard volledig jouw ding, daarnaast:
- Je bent een teamspeler, maar je kan ook zelfstandig werken.
- Bij een probleem zoek je steeds naar de gepaste oplossing.
- Je wil bijleren over het treinmaterieel.
- Je houdt van werken in een flexibel uurrooster.
- Je werkt zowel overdag als ’s nachts en in het weekend (volgens een beurtrol).
- Je behaalde een diploma secundair onderwijs in het technisch of beroepssecundair onderwijs of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest.
- Of je hebt ervaring (min. 2 jaar) in een technische job gerelateerd aan mechanica of elektriciteit.
