Als elektrotechnieker treinonderhoud zorg je mee voor treinen in topconditie. Je onderhoudt en herstelt (motor)rijtuigen en locomotieven op elektrisch vlak. Zo draag je bij aan een stipte en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening.
Je schouwt, onderhoudt en herstelt de elektrische componenten van (motor)rijtuigen en locomotieven. Het gaat daarbij bijvoorbeeld om veiligheidssystemen, motoren, omvormers, transformatoren, hoogspanningsuitrusting, … Je werkt met elektrische schema’s. Je analyseert ze en zoekt er specifieke zaken in op. Je werkt in de vaste nachtploeg van zondagnacht tot donderdagnacht met werkuren van 21u tot 5u.
Als elektrotechnieker treinonderhoud heb je heel wat verantwoordelijkheid. Jij zorgt ervoor dat onze reizigers zich in een perfect werkende trein kunnen verplaatsen. Daarnaast:
- Je behaalde een diploma secundair onderwijs in het technisch of beroepssecundair onderwijs (OK4) (studiegebied mechanica – elektriciteit) of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest.
- Of je hebt ervaring (min. 2 jaar) in een technische job gerelateerd aan mechanica of elektriciteit.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van elektromechanica, zowel in theorie als in praktijk.
- Je wil bijleren over het treinmaterieel.
- Bij een probleem zoek je steeds naar de gepaste oplossing. Hierbij ga je snel en efficiënt te werk.

Hoe een trein in elkaar zit, leer je niet op de schoolbanken. Daarom investeren we veel in je opleiding. Je volgt overdag les in ons gloednieuw opleidingscentrum in Melle. Je zal (theorie)lessen in Melle afwisselen met opleiding in de werkplaats. In totaal ga je, verspreid over je eerste 12 weken, zo’n 28 dagen naar Melle. Ook daarna voorzien we nog heel wat opleiding op de werkplek. Je kiest voor een gevarieerde, boeiende job. En natuurlijk ook:
