Position Description; Scope of the role;
Applicants should be able to read engineering drawings use standard measuring equipment and have an understanding of general machining principles. Tasks will include setting and operating CNC O-D, I-D, Manual and track grinding machines.

Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Setting/operating Manual and CNC grinding machines and carrying out manual processes.
- Multi manning machines
- Ensure parts conform to drawing and are processed in the allotted time
- Ensure documentation is accurate
- Support the area in the carrying out alternative tasks as required
- Achieving area targets as identified by production
Experience and Qualifications
- Dependable, responsible contributor who’s committed to excellence and success
- Good interpersonal skills, (team-worker)
- Prepared to follow procedures
- NVQ in Engineering manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship
- Previous experience of working in an engineering environment.
- English Language and Maths to GCSE grade C or above
- Computer Literate (ideally with a recognised qualification)
- Experience in the use of standard measurement equipment.
Hours of work
Overtime available when required.
A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm
No Premium Friday 6am to 12:45pm
B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm
20% Premium Friday 12:35pm to 7pm
