As the business continues to grow it is now seeking a CMM Technician Operator to support high integrity inspection activities. As the CMM Technician Operator your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality documentation
- Programming modifying and optimising CMM inspection routines across complex components
- Performing first off in process and final inspections in line with GD&T requirements
- Working with engineering production and quality teams to resolve measurement issues
- Supporting continuous improvement activity across metrology methods and inspection processes
As the CMM Technician Operator you will bring:
- Apprentice trained experience ideally within machining and aerospace manufacturing
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings CAD models and GD&T principles
- Familiarity with CMM software such as PC DMIS Calypso CAMIO or similar
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- High attention to detail with strong analytical problem solving capability
