Trust In Soda are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a client we work with in London who are a highly regarded, household media publisher! Within the role you will be working with huge sets of data; my client owns over 80 websites and has 120m unique browsers each month!

Although the whole company is large in terms of headcount, this role sits in a smaller and more nimble data team that operate more like a start-up! They follow their own Agile process and create their own rules to get the job done.

You will be working collaboratively with other Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Product & UX to drive forward data-based platforms, enhance user-facing products and build highly advanced analytical tools.

Qualifications:

  • Essential Requirements:
    • Extensive experience in deploying products
    • Solid experience with Python, and associated libraries such as scipy, scikit-learn and pandas/numpy
    • Experience creating NLP / DL / RNN models
    • Experience with Image Processing and CNNs
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Degree in CS, maths, statistics, engineering, physics or similar
  • Desirable Requirements:
    • NoSQL databases – Elasticsearch, MongoDB…etc (bonus)
    • Modern Data tools such as Spark / Beam (bonus)
    • Streaming technologies such as Spark/Akka Streams (bonus)
