nLogic is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part in supporting systems at The Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC) within a collaborative defense and technology environment. This position requires understanding and proficiency in Windows and the ability to work in a dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the System Administration Team in the evaluation, configuration, and installation of Windows systems in a testing environment. Other duties include managing system upgrades and tracking tasks for building out systems.
Responsibilities
- Support simulated ground test infrastructure and reconfiguration
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document System Errors and Resolutions
- Installation or rebuilding of existing servers
- Applying DISA STIGs
- Installing OS and application patches
- Troubleshooting OS and resolving hardware/software problems
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, in-scope Secret security clearance
- BS or higher in related field (or additional 4 years of experience)
- Security+ (or other DoD Instruction 8750.01 Cert) or the ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire
- Windows Certification or the ability to obtain one
- 0-3 years related work experience
- Experience in Windows System Administration
- Experience installing, rebuilding, and configuring Windows Systems
- Willing to learn new things and share existing knowledge with others
- Adaptable to changing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Department of War (DoW) Environment
- Experience in test and/or MD
- Familiarity with Windows Domains and RSA
- Experience working in secured spaces
Work Conditions
- Work Model: Onsite in Huntsville, AL
- Travel: Minimal
- Work Hours: Standard hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with some exceptions outside of this window to support test events that require night shift work for some positions
