Looking for a new and rewarding work as a Support Worker?
As a Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs.
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker in Hull to make a real difference in the life of an individual with physical disabilities including, tracheostomy and ventilator dependent, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Part time and full time available.
Day and night shifts available.
Employment Type: Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.
We are also looking for before and after school care in term-time, before and after holiday club, and some full days in school holidays.
Most shifts will be split for example 6:30 – 9:30 then 14:30 – 19:30.
We will require one driver on every shift who can drive a Motability wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Salary £13ph week days, £14ph weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay.
NL Group pay weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual 's care plan.
- Supporting tracheostomy and ventilator management with full training provided.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans .
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential,
- Previous experience with supporting those tracheostomy and ventilator dependent is beneficial
- PEG Care Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e. g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
