Salary: Part time/ full time £13ph weekdays £14ph weekends +12.07% NL Group pay weekly.

Working hours: 7:30am to 7:00pm / 8am to 8pm, with every other weekend off.

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Worker to provide 2:1 support, joining a core team of Support Workers. You will be providing care and support to someone with ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviours, as well as learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2:1 personalised care and support.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Support mobility, positioning, and physical needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

About You

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience working with Complex Care for at least 6 months.
  • Previous experience with supporting learning disabilities is also preferred.
  • Any restraint training/violence prevention training qualifications are desirable but not required.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting service users.
