The predicted salary is between 13 - 13 £ per hour.

Pay rate £13.00ph weekdays and £14.00ph weekends + holiday pay at 12.07%. This is a consistent, long-term placement with a structured rota, offering stability and the opportunity to build a meaningful, trusting relationship while supporting daily living and wellbeing.

We are looking for Support Workers with a real passion to care, who believe every person deserves support, dignity and the chance to thrive. We are seeking experienced Support Workers to work across a rota covering both day and night shifts to support individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. You will provide compassionate and tailored care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, both in residential settings and within the community.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies, life skills, and accessing community resources.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and document client progress.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities for at least 6 months.
  • Any restraint training/violence prevention training qualifications are desirable but not required as full DMI training is provided.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting service users.
