Overview
Doncaster-based Support Worker role providing vital care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex medical needs.
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with physical disabilities including tracheostomy and ventilator dependence, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy.
A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
Part-time and full-time positions available. Day and night shifts may be required.
Salary: £13 per hour on weekdays, £14 per hour on weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay. NL Group pays weekly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual’s care plan.
- Support tracheostomy and ventilator management with full training provided.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Experience supporting individuals who are tracheostomy and ventilator dependent is beneficial.
- PEG care experience.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e. g., NVQ Level 2/3) are advantageous.
