We are hiring a Domiciliary Care Worker to support people in their own homes. Enjoy flexible hours, rewarding work and the opportunity to make a real difference in your community. You will help individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your role will include personal care, assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and support with medication management. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. Various hours, including short domiciliary calls between 7am and 11pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping and personal hygiene.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help clients manage their medication and attend appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources, activities and social events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

About You

  • Previous experience in a role within the health and social care sector (professional or personal).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3) are preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate, patient and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to undergo further training to support the needs of our clients.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of clients.
