Location: Hull

Salary: From £13.00 to £14.00 +12.07% Holiday Pay

Shift Pattern: 4:3 on a 2 week roster, every other weekend off. Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs and Fri.

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our Complex Care team in Hull, supporting people with high-level care needs to live safely and independently.

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes or supported living environments. You will support clients with a range of complex conditions, learning disabilities and respiratory needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. No two days are the same - rewarding work as a Support Worker awaits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
  • Supporting tracheostomy and ventilator management with full training provided.
  • Provide support with PEG feeding and ensure feeds are administered safely in line with training and care plans.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role for at least 6 months.
  • Previous experience with supporting those tracheostomy and ventilator dependent.
  • PEG Care Experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
