Working Hours: Monday to Friday Typical clinic hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Additional time required before and after shifts for preparation, decontamination, and closing duties. Part-time hours to be agreed at interview.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms for clinical procedures
- Assisting dentists during a variety of treatments
- Maintaining strict infection control and cross-infection protocols
- Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their visit
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Participating in a recognised dental nurse training programme
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be enrolled on a recognised dental nursing course
- Strong spoken and written English
- Caring, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Reliable, organised, and motivated to learn
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Genuine interest in dentistry and healthcare
- Previous chairside experience is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
