The Opportunity:
This Trainee Dental Nurse position offers an excellent pathway into the dental profession, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience within a specialist clinical environment. You will assist the dental team with patient care, support a variety of treatments, and learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a dental nurse while working towards your professional qualification. Main Duties:
- Assist clinicians and specialists during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for patient appointments
- Follow infection control, sterilisation, and health and safety procedures
- Support patients throughout their appointments and help maintain a positive patient experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Work closely with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
- Participate in training and develop knowledge of dental nursing procedures and best practices
