NLB Solutions are working with a growing Practice in St Albans that are looking for an Accountant that is able to look after an expanding portfolio of clients. The business has expanded in the last 12 months and has many clients that are using the expanding set of services that they are providing. There are opportunities to expand your skillset and deal with larger clients and expand your experience of supporting and developing staff within the business.
The business has an excellent owner with clients that have supported the growth and expansion. With driven and ambitious plans to expand further, this business is at the start of a great journey that is looking at 5 years in the future.
Duties:
- Independently managing a portfolio of clients, including:
- Limited company statutory accounts
- Management accounts
- Sole trader tax returns
- VAT returns
Person Spec:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (finalists will be considered)
- A minimum of 3 yearsβ experience within a public practice environment
- Experience managing and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Experience with Xero and Dext
- Experience with TaxCalc (preferred but not essential)
- A proactive, organised, and self-motivated mindset
- A genuine desire to learn, develop, and progress within a growing firm
