NLB solutions are working with a large business in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a Dutch speaking Senior Accountant to join as soon as possible. The successful candidate will report to theBenelux Local Controller and requires someone with strong knowledge of Belgium and Dutch GAAP and familiarity with Belgian and Dutch accounting regulations. As a Senior Accountant for the Netherlands and Belgium, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local accounting standards. The business offers a hybrid working pattern, competitive renumeration package and supportive management team. The have onsite parking and also have a regular bus service in the morning and end of the working day to the local train station for employees that are commuting by train. Duties: Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely financial information in accordance with US GAAP, Dutch and Belgian GAAP, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Stay abreast of changes in Dutch and Belgian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. Prepare Monthly VAT and Intrastat Returns for the Netherlands and Belgium. Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory returns to local authorities.
