NLB Solutions are working with 3 partner accountancy practices that are looking to recruit for a trainee accountant who will be mentored by the team and accounting manager. The team works on a hybrid basis and is looking for someone who will qualify either as an ACA or ACCA Accountant. You will be part of a well-established team that has adapted to new regulations over many years and helps support clients to get the best from their accountants.
With working hours of 9-5 and study support, this is a great chance for someone looking to qualify as an accountant. They need someone with exposure to working in a practice environment for at least a year. Parking and local amenities are very accessible too.
Duties:
- Client handling/managing experience useful.
- Accounts preparation, Corporation Tax, VAT.
- Personal tax preparation.
- Competent in the use of Xero/Quickbooks, TaxCalc, and Sage 50 Accounts. Experience with IRIS would be useful but not essential.
Person Spec:
- Competent use of Excel and Word.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Qualifications/study – Ideally already studying for a professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
